We want to offer the highest quality wine (and other drinks) at a budget dictated by you, alongside as much advice and info as you could ever need or want.
We wish we could stock local wines, unfortunately Scotland is too cold a climate to grow grapes commercially. That said, our beer, gin and whisky range is very locally focused.
We strive to stock low-intervention wines, made in small-scale production, and with the most environmentally and ethically kind practices possible. The vast majority of what we stock will tick at least one of these boxes, however we also don’t prioritise certain practices or styles to the exclusion of others.
We accept that some regions and countries have no choice but to forgo Organic status and use pesticides if they are going to successfully make wine at all, but they can still be ethical about it. All of life is a balance.
We choose our wines carefully and hope you enjoy our selection as much as we do.
Our unique space in the heart of Stonehaven offers a relaxed atmosphere to dine and drink. Formerly a printers shop, the venue has been thoughtfully transformed into a haven for social gatherings, flavourful food and exceptional drinks.
Our menu features a variety of breakfast and lunch options, all crafted with locally sourced ingredients to ensure the highest quality and flavour. Our extensive drinks menu includes handpicked wines, local craft beers, and expertly mixed cocktails. Whether you’re here for a casual drink with friends or a more intimate evening out, our welcoming ambiance and attentive service create the perfect setting.
We believe running a business and not taking the environment into consideration would not just be naive but irresponsible. Sustainability and respect for humans and the environment are core principles of Nàdarra and guide both the food and drinks on our menu as well as the operations of the business as a whole.
We are constantly trying to get as close to zero waste overall as we possibly can. While we know this can be difficult to achieve and not always possible, we are continually looking for ways to lower our footprint on the environment.
We have four individual types of recycling collected from our store and will add more when we can. We have a zero-plastic policy, so never give out plastic shopping bags and we only use 100% bleach-free, recycled & recyclable packaging. We give away our used coffee granules for compost and try to create as little waste as possible in all aspects of the business.
Working in this way would not be possible without our suppliers having the same ethos. We use as many local suppliers as possible who have the same commitment as we do. Through thoughtful partnerships, community engagement and a passion for sustainability, we aim to cultivate a space where enjoyment converges with environmental mindfulness.
